First Time Setup Guide
Prepare your account, hardware and network using the guide for your exact product.
Start with the product name and hardware revision on your order or device. THOX devices and software clients do not share a universal power adapter, LED sequence, administrator address or default password.
1. Confirm your product and release
Find the packing list, quick-start instructions and supported software release supplied for your product. Check the accessories against that list and record any missing or damaged items before setup.
2. Check placement and power
Follow the device guide for ventilation, connectors and power requirements. Use the specified adapter and cable. Do not infer compatibility from the connector shape or a wattage quoted for another model.
3. Connect using the supported method
Use the documented Ethernet, Wi-Fi or pairing flow for your release. Find the assigned address in that flow or your router client list. Keep network passwords out of support messages.
4. Sign in to the correct surface
For your website account, use the THOX Sign in flow. For device administration, use the URL and credentials established during that device setup; website sign-in does not supply a device shell account.
5. Record and verify your device
Dashboard > Devices lets you record a device in your account. Check the device or application connection status separately. Registration alone does not establish a MeshStack peer connection or verify a warranty.
6. Try a small example
Before using AI, confirm the runtime, model and processing location. Use a public or synthetic prompt and review the result. Follow the first-model guide for model discovery and the local-AI guide for local runtime setup.
